  • htmlTextData.content.items[0].content - <p>Ntando Mahlangu is an athlete who is determined to never give up, especially after being confided to a wheelchair since birth until he was 10 years old due to being born with hemimelia. Since then both his legs were amputated in 2012, and he was fitted with his first set of prosthetic blades from the Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund. This fund provides prosthetic solutions to those who need it most, such as children living with amputations from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. As soon as Ntando became mobile, his whole life changed and he began competing in competitions with Jumping Kids and he discovered his talent. Ntando shot through the ranks and by 2016 Mahlangu had developed into a world-class Para Athlete; winning T42 200m silver for South Africa at the Rio 2016 Paralympics at only 14 years of age. He has been named as the “one to watch” in the build-up to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Ntando is also passionate about helping children facing challenges similar to his own and inspires them to overcome obstacles in life and achieve their goals in education and sport.</p>
